2021 SVTA EVENT CALENDAR 

General Meetings -  Our monthly general meetings will resume at the Ardrossan Memorial Hall on Wednesday, July 21 starting at 7:00 PM.  Other general meetings are scheduled for 7:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, so August 18th, September 15th, and October 20.  Phone Mike at 780-467-6973 for more information.

 Road Tour and Fun Pull Weekend (July 30 & August 1) - We are planning to have a "members only" weekend event with our annual road tour happening on Saturday morning (July 30) and then a fun pull on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday (July 30 & August 1).  Saturday lunch will be a "bring your own" event while the club will supply lunch on Sunday.  Phone Rae at 780-922-3510 for information on the road tour.  Phone Sten at 780-498-1146 for information on the fun pull.

 SVTA Display and Demonstrations at the Mennonite Heritage Farm (August 14 & 15) - We will be providing a static vintage tractor display and also will enable visitors to see vintage plowing with a one-bottom plow and a John Deere BR tractor.  We might also be providing wagon rides around the site for visitors.  Things start up both days at 11 AM and wrap up at 3:30 PM. The Heritage Farm is located 6 Km south of the Wye Road on Rg Rd 231.  Actual address is 5203-Rg Rd 231. For more information, contact Bob Beveridge at 780-467-1513.    

Annual Tractor Pull and Show (August 28 & 29) - With the Covid 19 restrictions being eased on July 1 in the province, we have decided to move ahead with our 16th annual Tractor Pull & Show at the Bremner site on August 28 & 29.  Check the tractor pull section on this website for more information & pulling rules, etc.  Phone Sten (780-498-1146) for more information. 





















Fall Harvest Activities - Our 2021 hay farming at the Bremner site is finished up.  Our remaining grain harvest will take place at our new "East 50" leased site on Rg Rd 221.  Members will be kept up to date by email contact on what is happening out there and when.


Museum Field Trip (Saturday, October 16) - Our visit to the Bodnar Family Museum is scheduled but being an indoor event and with the new and perhaps changing Covid regulations in effect, no decision has yet been made yet on whether or not it will happen.  Members will be updated when we know more information.


October SVTA General Meeting (Wednesday, October 20) - Our last general meeting of the year is scheduled as usual at the Ardrossan Memorial Hall, however the status of the meeting is not known for sure at this time.


SVTA Appreciation Supper Event and Silent Auction (Saturday, November 6) - This is scheduled to take place at the Partridge Hill Hall.  Members will be notified with more information as we move closer to the date.
